To hold a position in our ministry, a servant must faithfully support the church in attendance and offerings; be a member
of the body for at least one full year; and display a Christian example in compliance to what the New Testament teaches.
CHURCH MOTHERS
Church mothers have specific duties, such as helping the pastor prepare for communion, counseling young women, or helping with funeral services. Church mothers are women who are wise, respected, and spirit-filled, and who the pastor can trust to guide the women's ministry. As a mother who protects and nourishes believers, Church Mothers adhere to Titus chapter 2.
Titus 2:3 the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things— 4 that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed. 6 Likewise, exhort the young men to be sober-minded, 7 in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility, 8 sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you.

DEACONS
The term deacon comes from the Greek word diákonos meaning "servant" or "minister." The word, which appears at least 29 times in the New Testament, designates an appointed member of the local church who assists by serving other members and meeting material needs.
In general, deacons function as servants, ministering to the body in practical ways. They may assist as ushers, tend to benevolence, & provide order in the church. No matter how they serve, Scripture makes it clear that ministering as a deacon is a rewarding and honorable calling in the church.
Paul presents Phoebe as a deaconess.
Romans 16:1 I commend to you Phoebe our sister, who is a servant of the church in Cenchrea, 2 that you may receive her in the Lord in a manner worthy of the saints and assist her in whatever business she has need of you; for indeed she has been a helper of many and of myself also.
